This tip from our ‘Living With Pets‘ series provides an ideal solution for devising a private space for your pet in your home. It is essential for your dog to have a place of its own, a lair where they can sleep, play with their toys or simply keep to themselves when needed.
An excellent idea would be to establish a separate area for your dog under the stairs, next to the living room where all the action is. Make it warm and fluffy, almost like a secret hideaway. Arrange a comfortable dog bed and scatter some toys to make it inviting.
Don’t forget to set up an appropriate opening for your dog as well as a side door for you and your family, so it would be easier to maintain the space inside, keep it clean and organized.
