The Egg House is another great design by NY-based studio J Schatz. It’s a colorful and durable egg-shaped home for birds to hatch their young. This delicate, modern birdhouse features a 1 1/8″ diameter entry hole, which will attract chickadees, wrens, and smaller birds, while keeping house sparrows out.
The birdhouse glossy egg shaped surface and removable aluminum perch prevent predators from entering during nesting season. The handcrafted ceramic egg has a durable finish that will withstand yearlong temperature extremes, while the aluminum perch, aluminum bottom and vinyl coated hanging wire are rust resistant.
The birdhouse can easily be kept clean by using the 2″ diameter clean out hole in the bottom with its aluminum cover. The aluminum bottom has four ventilation/drainage holes that provide birds with fresh air and keep them dry. Available in eight glossy colors.
